How to choose just one … Pupa is fabulous (but impossible to find outside of western europe), so MAC and EL it is.

Oh, this is such a difficult question. I own Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercier, Benefit, Nars, Stila, MAC . . . Those are the easy ones that I can think of off the top of my head. I’m sure there are a few other brands floating around in my makeup drawer. I guess my favorite makeup brand right now is Dior since they make the lip gloss that I’m wearing everyday right now.

My favorite make-up brand has to be Urban Decay. It’s not like it started out that way, but over the years it’s what I’ve gone back to the most. Their XXX Lip Shine is the very best lip gloss! They have the best colors of eyeshadow! And I CANNOT live without their eyeshadow primer!

Well, well, well…if you haven’t tried the Sue Devitt Bermuda Triangle undereye corrector, you still probably have dark bags! I think this is a real deal line; her stuff is real, it works, and it’s not just a ‘celeb’ line!

I love Benefit play sticks , awesome pan stick that is multi-purpose ( concealer , foundation ) . It’s hard to pick 1 so I’ll give you my top 5 . 1.Benefit 2. Bobbi Brown 3.Tarte 4.Laura Mercer 5. Too Faced . Skincare is a completely different story LOVE Lisa Hoffman , Kinerase , Lancome , Jurlique I could go on for days ! I have not had much experience with Sue Devitt except for a wonderful eyeliner I received from BeautyFix it’s like 1/2 inch long and can no longer be sharpened . Hope I win that would be awesome !!

The number one favorite: Smashbox. Their products are beautiful, versatile, and perfect for day to day use.
But a girl cannot live on Smashbox alone. For nights out, nobody does fun and vivid color like MAC. I also adore Urban Decay eyeshadows.

Laura mercier is my favorite for ‘basics’ foundation, powder, etc. Nars makes the most intense and still wearable eye colors, and MAC when I’m in a super-bold mood!

I’ve rarely met a makeup brand that I didn’t like! However, if I have to choose just one. . . it would be MAC. Such a huge selection and great quality at prices that are, for the most part, lower than the other big name brands, (i.e., NARS, Bobbi Brown, Lancome, etc.).

I have favorites – but love trying new products. As of this moment, these are my faves: For brows, Smashbox Brow Tech; Eyeshadow, Sephora Collector’s Edition Makeup Palette (it’s heaven in a case); Foundation, Sue Devitt Triple C-Weed Whipped Foundation for smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles; Blush, Tarte Cheek Stain in Flush (and that’s exactly how it makes me look); Concealer, The Bomb by Time Bomb; Mascara, The Colossal Volum Express (one coat is all it takes to make my lashes long and thick). As for lips: I can’t live without Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey and, at night especially, I top that off with a Chanel Glossimer, no. 108, which is hard to find so, when I do, I buy it in bulk. I’ve also given it as gifts to many girlfriends.

Too Faced – lash injection is my go to mascara and i’ve tried them all… I have about 27 mascaras at any given time and i get the best compliments when i use lash injection.
I guess after my explanation there i would have to go with Jane Iredale as my number one because i can’t live without the pressed mineral powder!

I think of myself as an equal opportunity makeup user. I just ordered some Lorac eye shadow that I love, but I also have Bobbi Brown, Avon, Lancome, MAC, Vincent Longo – you name it, I’ve got it, unless it is ridiculously expensive. I’ll try different stuff, but the one thing I won’t sacrifice is mascara. Dior mascara is the only must-have in my make-up bag. Otherwise, I am open to all sorts of things.

this is a tough question! my favorite makeup brand changes as my needs and expectations change.
in high school, due to budget and access, i loved drugstore brands, especially loreal; they have the perfect variety and price points to start playing around with makeup.
right before i went to college, my sister introduced me to shiseido which i stuck with through college.
in my 20s, it was all about experimentation. some highlights were MAC, Benefit, Fresh, Bareminerals…I had the most fun with Benefit, but probably used Fresh and Bareminerals the most for everyday makeup.
Now that I’m near 30, I’m trying to simplify. I found that NARS is the best for me these days. A little goes a long way with me for NARS. With minimal effort, I can get the polished, put together look that i want.
So a vote for NARS from me

As a make up junkie for life, I have tried virtually every make up brand on the market. I go through my phases where one month it’s all Yve St, Laurent, then Shiseido, Dior, Bobbi Brown, Laura Mercer, etc. The list is endless. Now, my make up routine is the hardest because I use so many different brands to make up my face every day. I love the MAC lipsticks and glosses, the Dior eyeshadows, the lancome, Bobbi Brown, Shu Uhmera and Urban Decay eyeliners, clinique foundation, prescriptives primer, Stila blush and lorac mascara. There is no such thing as getting ready to leave my house in 5 minutes. G-d help me if I have a date. I have to start getting ready the night before(not really but it does take an hour plus just to apply my makeup just right). It would be nice to find one brand that can satisfy all my needs. Right now, my very favorite brand is Rock and Republic Cosmetics. The eyeshadows are gorgeous and there are a wide range of colors to choose from. The lipglosses make MAC look like a start up company. However, the line is very expensive, is not carried in many places and as such, I haven’t be able to try all their products such as foundation, primer, etc. The ironic thing is the prize for this contest is make up by Sue Devitt, which has got to be THE only make up line I have never tried. With the vast variety of items being given away in this contest, what a pleasure and relief it would be to win and love the line. It sure would simplify my life. I like Susan Posnick cosmetics because it is natural, the colors are beautiful, the products are easy to use and it always looks great.

I appreciate obscure brands (Girlactik, Classified Cosmetics, Billy B Beauty, Bitchslap Cosmetics, Hourglass Cosmetics, OCC, Sigma, NYX) just a much as many of the mainstream brands (MAC, Benefit, Urban Decay, Stila, NARS, Armani, YSL, Dior, Chanel, Shiseido) it’s so hard to pick one. If I had to pick one right now, I would say NYX, because their jumbo pencils bring any eye look to life so much more because of the ease of application and the range of color.

Laura Mercier – both oil-free moisturizer (in the winter) and mineral makeup (warmer months) easily–and quickly–create a wonderful canvas. Concealer, gel liner, glosses with staying power…I find that I use a variety of other lines to provide great “accessories,” to my Mercier base, depending on my mood or look.

For lips and eyes, you can’t go wrong with Nars, and I love the Laura Mercier Make-up Primer. I am also a huge fan of Benefit’s Benetint for cheeks. Oh my, that is an impossible question! I have little treasures from here and there, mixed ad matched – from high end to drugstore, there are so many that would count as my “favorite”. Just depends on what it is!
I guess if I MUST choose – the product I reach for every day without fail is my Dior lip gloss – one swipe makes me feel special and glam, even though I am probably just going to the grocery store with my toddler. And if you have ever gone to the grocery store with a toddler, you know it is usually not experience that involves any glam whatsoever.

I rarely do my entire face, in the same brand. I have had good luck with Sheer Cover, as an skin product, and for lips, I like Smashbox, Stila, Clinique, or Carol’s Daughter. For eyes, I love MAC and Lorac pigments. Lashes are Dior.

Cover Girl; Avon; Wet n’ Wild; L’Oreal; Exolgo. Best concealer – I’m 60 and have used Erace by Max Factor since I was 15……..also always used it on my lips as a base to give lipstick color staying power….looks cool by itself too when you’re young……it also softened any chapping on lips so I could just peel off the dry skin with my fingers or teeth; I also put it on a zit and the zit would be gone in a couple of days………learned Max Factor was going overseas so I bought up a slew!
